Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant to support Acute Care on a 28-bed Medical Surgical unit. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, taking vitals, and helping the care team deliver safe, compassionate therapy to a diverse patient population.

Key duties include monitoring patient conditions, coordinating with nurses, performing basic tests, and ensuring supplies are stocked on the unit. Prior CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Measures and documents vital signs; assists with testing as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; supports care team.
• Prepares patients for procedures and transports to tests as required.
• Performs routine tasks and supports inventory and supplies on unit.
