Job summary

The Cypress of Charlotte is seeking an Activities Bus Driver (PRN) to transport residents to grocery outings, monthly trips, and other scheduled activities. The role requires a patient, safety-conscious approach and the ability to assist residents with mobility aids.

Schedule is PRN with some weekend and evening shifts, and responsibilities include door assist, log maintenance, and light vehicle care. Qualified candidates hold a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid license with CDL P

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL with P endorsement is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Minimum 6–12 months’ experience as a bus/van driver.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver residents safely to scheduled activities.
• Open vehicle doors and greet residents and guests.
• Assist residents who need help with walkers, wheelchairs, etc.
• Run office errands to bank, post office, etc.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out.
• Maintain accurate trip/mileage logs.
