Job summary

Cypress of Raleigh is seeking a Driver to transport Independent Living residents to a variety of activities in a timely and safe manner.

This part-time role includes mornings, nights, and weekends with a strong emphasis on Saturdays, and requires flexibility for special events. A valid CDL with P endorsement and a current DOT medical certificate are mandatory, along with a good driving record and basic English communication.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• CDL with P endorsement required and valid DOT medical certificate.
• Valid driver license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Transport Independent Living residents to activities in a timely and safe manner.
• Demonstrate courtesy and helpfulness to residents and members at all times.
• Follow map directions and traffic laws to ensure safety and punctuality.

Job description

Our Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of Independent Living residents to various individual and group activities.

Position available:

Part-time, Days vary, to include mornings, nights & weekends with strong emphasis on Saturdays. Must be flexible with your shifts to accommodate special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school education preferred. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
2. Must possess a valid Commercial Drivers license (CDL) with P endorsement in the State. Must have a good driving record. Must possess valid DOT medical examiner's certificate (yearly physical)
3. Valid and active Driver license issued from any State, with a good driving record
4. Successful completion of Cypress of Raleigh golf cart training.
5. Must be courteous, friendly and helpful with members and residents at all times.
6. Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.
