Job summary

The Village of St. Edward in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a PRN Activities Assistant to support daily activity programs for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

You will help plan and run diverse activities, outings, and entertainment to enhance residents' quality of life, within a caring, Christ-centered, not-for-profit environment. Ideal candidates are committed, kind and respectful, with strong organizational and communication skills, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and available weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manual handling.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Understanding of elderly care needs and ability to plan activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, directing and carrying out activity programs for residents.
• Provide spiritual development, recreation and educational activities as part of total resident care.
• Work with residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
