Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) invites high-potential students to join its Private Wealth Management 2027 Summer Internship in Philadelphia. You will work closely with Partners and Principals on real projects, receive tailored feedback, and participate in workshops, speaker series, and networking events designed to accelerate your career.

You will support onboarding, client materials, and portfolio-related activities while engaging with diverse teams in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Junior in college, entering senior year in fall 2027 with a background in finance, business, or investing
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Demonstrated leadership through academic and extracurricular activities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of asset management industry and security markets (equities and fixed income)
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
• Sound judgment and ability to identify, elevate and resolve problems
• Ability to prioritize competing demands
• Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including multi‑sheet analysis and data linking

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities for a dedicated client base and ensure client needs are met
• Assist with new client onboarding and account opening processes
• Help create client meeting materials
• Gain exposure to core portfolio activities and their execution
• Troubleshoot client account issues such as reporting and data requests
• Explore multiple disciplines within BBH’s integrated business model
