Job description

Madison Professional Group has partnered with a highly respected Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) seeking an experienced Private Wealth Advisor to step into an established book of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a relationship-driven advisor who enjoys comprehensive financial planning and long-term client relationships. Supported by an experienced financial planning and investment team, you'll focus on delivering sophisticated advice rather than building a book from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary advisor for an established portfolio of UHNW client relationships.
  • Lead client meetings, manage ongoing communication, and ensure seamless follow-through.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning, including retirement, tax, estate, investment, and multi-generational wealth strategies.
  • Partner with internal planning and investment professionals to develop customized recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business development on prospective client meetings and presentations (no self-sourcing required).
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, planning-first culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field.
  • CFP® required; advanced degree or professional designation (MBA, CPA, CAIA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Series 65 required.
  • 5+ years of experience advising high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, tax-aware strategies, estate planning, and investment management.
  • Experience with custodians such as Schwab or Fidelity and financial planning software such as eMoney or MoneyGuidePro.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and client presentation skills.
Why Join This Team?
  • Established UHNW client relationships—no cold prospecting or self-sourcing.
  • Dedicated financial planning, investment, and business development support.
  • Opportunity to advise sophisticated clients with complex planning needs.
  • Collaborative, team-based culture focused on exceptional client service.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and long-term career growth.
