The Private Wealth Advisor is responsible for attracting and servicing clients with financial planning needs by integrating a holistic planning approach. This individual will meet with current clients while also attracting new prospective clients to the firm.
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition (80%):
·Attracts, pursues, and develops a client base by networking and growing relationships with potential clients
·Elicits referrals from existing clients and network
Client Relationship Development (20%):
·Services current clients by conducting annual review meetings to ensure financial goals are on track
·Conducts client meetings to develop a deep and clear understanding of clients’ financial goals and needs
·Gathers client information and prepares financial plans and recommendations based off the clients’ best interests
·Acts as a subject matter expert in relation to Northwestern Mutual financial products and recommendations
·Prepares and modifies plan analyses and investment/advisory proposals
·Recommends fund portfolio options.
·Discusses potential rollover opportunities from other retirement plans for variable and mutual funds
·Participates in annual business planning meetings with the leadership team
·Participates in weekly, monthly, and quarterly team meetings
·Utilizes system reports to track personal performance and sales opportunities while keeping the team informed of results and progress of goals
Qualifications:
·CLU, ChFC, or CFP designation preferred
·Demonstrated experience in sales/business development/client service or client-facing roles
·Demonstrated ability to generate qualified leads independently (hunter mentality)
·Previous relevant financial services industry experience
Compensation Structure: $70,000 - $75,000 Base + quarterly bonuses (revenue share/insurance commissions) + full benefits package
