Job summary

ROBERT W. BAIRD & CO. INCORPORATED in Milwaukee seeks a PWM Academy Branch Consultant to support the Private Wealth Management team through consulting and learning initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess industry experience and the desire to support branch leaders, advisors and staff via individual and team development. You will coach branch leaders and advisors, facilitate workshops, support succession planning, and help drive the PWM Academy program across offices with a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years financial or professional services experience.
• Experience confidently interacting with advisors in a consulting capacity.
• Coaching experience and/or certification a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Workshop and group facilitation skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 25%.
• Hybrid in-office requirement: in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Guide branch leaders, financial advisors and support associates in identifying academy learning opportunities.
• Provide coaching on team formation, succession planning, and talent needs.
• Facilitate due diligence for teaming/partnership with trainees and experienced advisors.
• Lead succession planning conversations to ensure business retention.
• Support the Financial Advisor Training Program with workshop facilitation.
• Develop content for team leader programs and facilitator guides.
• Lead content on communication, generations, and high-performing team playbooks.
• Facilitate High Performing Team summit breakouts and cohort follow-ups.
