Job summary

DrillTech, LLC in Denver seeks a Private Locator to identify and mark private utilities such as sewer laterals, water lines, and irrigation before potholing and drilling. You will support the Directional Drill Crews and Foreman.

This role requires field notes, travel as needed, ability to work long hours, pass a Level 4 background check and pre-employment drug screen, and basic math/computer skills. Experience with electromagnetic locating equipment, GPR, and reading as-built drawings is

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a utility locator required.
• Experience locating private utilities (sewer, water, irrigation) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic locating equipment; GPR a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret as-built drawings and property records helpful.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark private/unmarked underground utilities.
• Use electromagnetic locating equipment, sondes/camera equipment, GPR, and other locating tools.
• Coordinate with Drill Crew and Foreman to schedule locates before potholing and drilling.
• Maintain locate logs and field notes.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean.
