Job summary

A well-established, independently owned small animal hospital near Maryville, TN is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. This private, owner-led practice has an established diary and a platform to build a strong caseload, with a base salary of $120,000+ and a 20% production structure, no weekends and no on-call.

Typical hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with Wednesday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM; PTO negotiable, CE allowance, licensing fees covered, sign-on bonus negotiable, and potential

Qualifications

• Licensed DVM eligible to practice in Tennessee.
• Passionate about high-quality patient care and client service.
• Willing to perform routine soft-tissue surgery.
• Familiarity with Fear Free principles recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive medicine and general clinical care.
• Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries and dental work.
• Manage and grow a diversified clinical caseload.
• Collaborate with owner and team; mentor junior staff as appropriate.
• Engage with clients to build strong relationships and trust.
