Job summary

Gray Oak Capital, LLC is seeking experienced Investment Banking and Private Placement professionals to originate, structure, and close deals across private capital markets. The role emphasizes sourcing transactions, while the firm handles onboarding, licensing, compliance, and legal support.

The position offers flexible remote work or a Greenwich, CT hybrid office setup, with opportunities to lead transactions from mandate to close and grow within a compliant, regulation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in capital raising or investment banking.
• Existing network with issuers, investors, or sponsors preferred.
• FINRA licenses (Series 7, 79, 63, 65, or 82) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong understanding of private capital markets.
• High ethical standards and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage investment banking and/or private placement opportunities.
• Structure and execute capital raises (equity, debt, hybrid).
• Build and maintain relationships with issuers, investors, and intermediaries.
• Lead transactions from mandate through closing.
• Coordinate with compliance and legality on regulatory matters.
