Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• One year of experience in collections, insurance billing, or telemarketing preferred.
• Experience with data entry and computerized account management systems.
• General knowledge of insurance billing and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Review and monitor assigned customer accounts to identify outstanding balances and past-due payments.
• Contact customers by telephone, written correspondence, and other appropriate methods to resolve outstanding balances.
• Make outbound collection calls while maintaining a professional, respectful, and customer-service-focused approach.
• Assist customers with billing questions, payment concerns, and account discrepancies.
• Collect payments and establish payment arrangements with customers.
• Monitor payment agreements and provide timely follow-up to ensure payments are received.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of collection activities and customer communications.
• Document account activity daily in the accounts receivable (AR) system.
• Review collection reports, track delinquent accounts, and determine appropriate next steps.
• Communicate unresolved account issues or concerns to management.
• Complete required compliance training and other assigned duties.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Private Pay Collections Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Operations team.

This position is responsible for managing outstanding customer balances, coordinating payment arrangements, and helping reduce past-due accounts.
