Job summary

Santa Clara Development Corporation seeks a Private Patrol Operations Manager (PPOM) to lead daily security operations, supervise officers, and ensure compliance with NM regulations and licensing requirements. This role requires multitasking across sites, enforcing SOPs, and guiding personnel decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold a valid New Mexico Level I, II, III, & PPOM license.
• Prior supervisory or management experience in security operations.
• Knowledge of NMRLD regulations and private patrol operations.
• Ability to manage personnel across multiple sites.
• Must maintain license, firearms qualification, and certifications in good standing.
• Must demonstrate competency and judgment in use-of-force decision-making.
• Must hold a valid Santa Clara Pueblo Gaming license (if applicable).
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Authorized to enforce company policies and SOPs.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

SUMMARY

The Private Patrol Operations Manager (PPOM) oversees the day-to-day security operations of the company. This role ensures officers are properly scheduled, supervised, trained, and deployed in accordance with company SOPs, client post orders, and New Mexico RLD requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The Guard must frequently lift, assist and/or move up to approximately 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• The Guard is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
• The Guard is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, based on the assigned location/site, the noise level increases to loud.
• The Guard is exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke and could be exposed to stressful situations and irate individuals.
