Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Alternative Operations professional to support lifecycle management of private debt and private equity investments. The role offers exposure across settlement, asset servicing, cash management and accounting within a growing alternatives platform.

The successful candidate will work with investment teams, fund administrators, and external counterparties, driving process improvements and gaining experience across deal facilitation and control enhancements.

Qualifications

• Soft-skill driven role requiring quick onboarding and ownership.
• Exposure to deal settlement, asset servicing, and cash management preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced alternatives environment.

Responsibilities

• Support settlement and operational management of private debt and private equity investments.
• Assist across asset lifecycle activities: setup, settlement confirmations, reconciliations.
• Support debt restructurings, amendments, and refinancing events.
• Coordinate loan agency activity: drawdowns, repayments, interest, covenants.
• Review lifecycle accounting events: P&I, fees, expenses, capital calls, distributions.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Legal, Finance and external custodians/administrators.
