Job summary

New Era Advisors, a boutique placement agent, seeks an Associate to support end-to-end institutional fundraising. You will work directly with the Founder across active client engagements, handling LP pipelines, diligence, and outreach in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

The role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with 3 days in-office and 2 days optional remote. 2–3 years in private markets is ideal; licensing in FINRA may be pursued. Base salary in the mid-80s to mid-90s, with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, consulting, asset management, or institutional investing.
• Experience at a placement agent, institutional investor, or family office is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support existing placement client fundraises: manage LP pipelines and materials coordination.
• Conduct LP research and build outreach lists across institutional investors.
• Prepare pipeline reports and investor tracking materials for client reporting.
• Coordinate logistics for conferences and networking events.
• Support fundraising advisory engagements and client diligence.
• Manage and maintain the CRM (Salesforce) with discipline.
• Utilize AI applications to enhance firm efficiency and client service.
