Job summary

Atlantic Group is hiring a Fund Accounting Associate in New York, NY for our client, supporting fund accounting, investment operations, and financial reporting within an alternative investment environment. This role will oversee accounting and operational activities for private market investments, including transaction processing, capital activity, financial reconciliations, and fund reporting.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience in private equity or private credit fund

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review fund accounting records and quarterly reporting packages for accuracy.
• Support middle- and back-office operations including investment transactions and reconciliations.
• Review capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• Analyze management fees, valuations, and expense accruals.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with investment teams, fund administrators, and auditors.
