Job summary

Atlantic Group is seeking a seasoned professional to own fund accounting and financial reporting for its private equity funds in New York. You will oversee quarterly closes, NAV production, and financial statements, while coordinating with fund administrators to ensure accuracy and LPA compliance.

You will drive valuation processes, coordinate with third‑party firms, and support the Valuation Committee. The role also covers complex fund transactions, cash activity, and investor reporting,

Qualifications

• Own key aspects of fund accounting and financial reporting, including quarterly/annual close, NAV production, financial statements, capital accounts, and review of fund administrator deliverables for accuracy and compliance with LPA terms.
• Drive the quarterly valuation process for portfolio companies by preparing and reviewing valuation models, coordinating with third-party valuation firms, and supporting the Valuation Committee.
• Support complex fund transactions and cash activity, including deal closings, funds flow memos, capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, investor allocations, and credit facility activity.
• Lead audit and investor reporting support, preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor requests, coordinating with Tax and Legal, and supporting LP financial statements, capital account reporting, and DDQs.
• Partner across Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and deal teams on fund launches, LPA/side letter compliance, data integrity, process improvements, and other strategic finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting close cycles and NAV production.
• Prepare financial statements and capital account reporting for LPs.
• Coordinate valuation processes with external firms and support the Valuation Committee.
• Assist with deal closings, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
