Job summary

Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to support insurance claims administration. The role requires a Private Investigator license prior to applying and a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities include conducting investigations across workers’ comp, general liability, property/casualty, and disability; using surveillance

Qualifications

• Must hold Private Investigator license before applying
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience
• Ability to type reports in MS Word with minimal errors
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverages
• Use surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely
• Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold legal/ethical standards
