Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers for the Denver area, including Denver, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, and all of Jefferson County. We offer both part time and full-time schedules and pay $20/hr plus paid training and mileage.

Responsibilities include helping with activities of daily living, transportation, and companionship. Requirements include being 18+, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, owning a smartphone, and a clean background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lbs rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive clients in your own vehicle.

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.).
• Cooking and/or serving meals.
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Driving clients to the store or appointments as needed.
• Monitoring and reporting on client condition.

This is for our Denver office. We are needing caregivers in Denver, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, and all of Jefferson County. We offer both part time and full-time schedules.

Pay $20hr plus paid training and mileage

Current Needs

• High need for caregivers that are in Central Denver, and comfortable working in the Denver metro area
• Heavy transfer skills- hoyer lift and gait belt experience
• Experience with memory care and clients that are resistant to care
• Experience with clients that require full care

Plus

• Comfortable transporting clients using the caregiver's vehicle
• Visit more that one client per day.
• Able to commute 20 minutes from your home
• Weekend shifts

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments

Additional Information

Our hiring process is fast and simple! If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
