Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks an experienced manager to lead and grow its private healthcare services across CSUs and with external stakeholders. You will shape private pathways, engage consultants and corporate teams to ensure safe, sustainable and commercially viable services.

The role requires a professional management qualification and experience with PMIs, PHIN reporting, and CMA-compliant pricing. Collaboration with Finance and senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Business, Leadership or related field.
• Experience developing private patient pathways and services within NHS/private sectors.
• Experience with Private Medical Insurers (PMIs) and private patient administration, charging or income recovery processes.
• Understanding of NHS Private Patient Framework and PHIN reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of PROMS and CMA regulatory considerations.
• Experience presenting information to senior clinical and managerial audiences.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of healthcare market dynamics.
• Solid understanding of NHS environment and private patient governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support service development initiatives for private healthcare.
• Oversee private patient pathways, pricing structures, tariffs and pricing governance.
• Collaborate with Finance to embed private pricing within governance and CMA compliance.
