Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a midlevel associate for an investment management practice in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of large law firm experience and a strong background in forming private investment funds and drafting management entity documentation.

The role requires familiarity with private fund structures and applicable laws, plus active bar membership in the New York area.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of large law firm experience is required.
• Familiarity with private fund structures and related laws/regulations.
• Active bar membership in the state of the office location is required.

Responsibilities

• Form private investment funds, including hedge, VC, and PE funds.
• Structure and draft documentation for upper‑tier management entities and bonus/carry plans.
• Work on secondary transactions, including GP-led restructurings.
• Assist with investments by institutional investors in private funds and co‑investments.
