Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a midlevel associate (3–5 years) with large law firm experience to join a Washington, DC investment management practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forming private investment funds and structuring documentation for management entities.

Responsibilities include forming funds (hedge, VC, PE), drafting entity docs and bonus plans, and handling secondary transactions, GP-led restructurings, and institutional co-investments.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of large law firm experience.
• Familiarity with private fund structures and relevant laws and regulations.
• Active member of the bar in the state of the office location.

Responsibilities

• Form private investment funds, including hedge funds, venture capital funds, and private equity funds.
• Structure and draft documentation for upper-tier management entities and bonus and carry plans.
• Work on secondary transactions, including GP-led restructurings.
• Assist with investments by institutional investors in private funds and co-investments.
