Job summary

5 Legal is seeking a Private Investment Funds Associate Attorney to join its Investment Management group in Denver. The candidate will work on structuring and formation of private equity and venture capital funds, and negotiate with limited partners.

Candidates should have solid academic credentials and at least 4 years of experience, with desirable experience in GP/management companies and funds such as real estate or hedge funds, along with familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940

Qualifications

• Experience in structuring and formation of private equity funds or venture capital funds.
• Negotiation with limited partners.
• Experience with structuring general partner and management companies.
• Experience with real estate funds and/or hedge funds.
• Experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
• Representing institutional investors in investments into private investment funds and related matters.
• Solid academic credentials and at least 4 years of experience.
