We are seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic professional to craft exceptional experiences at our premier restaurant and versatile event venue near Fairfield, CT. As our Sales and Events Manager, you will bring expertise and creativity to every occasion, transforming celebrations such as intimate birthday parties, cool casual wedding receptions, and thoughtful corporate events into unforgettable moments that captivate our guests and energize our team. Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 + 5% Commission, comprehensive healthcare, a great PTO plan, flexible schedule, 401k + match, and more!

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of private event sales and execution within the restaurant, including inquiries, contracts, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Generate and nurture leads through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building with potential clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for private events.
  • Create detailed event proposals, menus, and timelines, ensuring all client needs and expectations are met.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in private event sales, catering, or hospitality management within a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, especially within the events or hospitality industry.
  • Expertise in planning and executing events of varying scales, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support client events.
