Wage Scale
$25 - $35 per hour.

As a Private Events Chef, you are responsible for organizing food preparation, and supervising service for catered events. You manage kitchen staff, ensure JOEY standards are met, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Duties
- Special event planning and execution.
- Organize food preparation and supervise service for events.
- Oversee the work of the private event kitchen team.
- Collaborate with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately.
- Utilize various preparation and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of our menu items in accordance with JOEY recipes. Coordinate with other stations as needed.
- Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- 1-3+ years culinary experience (If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
- Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler certifications.
- Possess a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50lbs.
