Job summary

Tyree & D’Angelo Partners seeks a Private Equity Vice President to join our investment team in Chicago and Dallas. The role reports to the Co-Founders and offers a partner-track path as the firm grows, with exposure to all stages of the deal lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have private equity experience, strong ties to Chicago and/or Texas, and an ability to build investment theses with senior leadership. MBA candidates may be considered for an earlier start in 2027.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have strong investment analysis capabilities.
• Experience or strong ties to Chicago and/or Texas.
• Self-starter with collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Track record of intellectual curiosity and ability to build investment theses.
• Willingness to take increasing responsibility in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and business analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Identify and help source new investment targets and management talent.
• Support portfolio companies on add-on acquisitions and growth initiatives.
• Assist in all aspects of the investment process.
• Use a fact-based framework to help make investment recommendations.
