The firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join its Cross-Functional Advisory Team, a highly visible group that partners with management teams, boards, investors, and key stakeholders to deliver strategic, financial, and operational solutions across the full business and investment lifecycle.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of engagements, including M&A, operational transformations, turnarounds, performance improvement initiatives, strategic planning, and value creation projects. Professionals on this team play an active role in driving outcomes and influencing decision-making rather than serving solely in an execution capacity.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Exposure to a broad range of high-impact engagements across strategy, finance, operations, and transactions
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior executives, investors, and key decision-makers
  • Significant responsibility and visibility from day one
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with strong mentorship and career development
  • Fast-growing platform with substantial opportunities for advancement

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex financial analyses and build sophisticated financial models
  • Support and lead workstreams across M&A, restructuring, transformation, and performance improvement engagements
  • Develop strategic recommendations and actionable solutions for clients and portfolio companies
  • Partner with executive leadership teams to identify and drive value creation initiatives
  • Prepare client presentations, investment materials, and board-level communications
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to execute strategic and operational priorities

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related analytical role
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation experience, including three-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, and transaction analyses
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be based in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, or New York, with an in-office presence four days per week
