Confidential Company in New York, NY is seeking an Investment Principal for private equity, middle-market buyouts. The role focuses on leading investment evaluation, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio value creation.

The Principal will coordinate with management teams and internal stakeholders, oversee due diligence, modeling, and negotiation, and mentor junior staff while supporting portfolio performance enhancement.

Formación

• Minimum six years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or related disciplines.
• Strong transaction execution skills and familiarity with middle-market buyout processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project-management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities through industry research and advisor networks.
• Lead financial modeling, valuation analyses, and preparation of investment committee materials.
• Manage due diligence processes, coordinating third-party advisors and internal teams.
• Support negotiation and structuring of transactions.
• Partner with portfolio company leadership on strategic planning, performance monitoring, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Oversee preparation of portfolio reporting and support exit planning.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm-level initiatives.
