Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) seeks an experienced investment professional to join the Private Equity team as either Assistant Investment Officer (AIO) or Investment Officer (IO). The role involves ongoing due diligence, underwriting, and monitoring of private equity partnerships, aligning with statutes and Board policies, and delivering a well-diversified portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CFA may substitute for part of experience.
• Experience in private equity partnerships within institutional investing.
• Strong due diligence and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in development, recommendation, implementation, monitoring, and termination of private equity investments.
• Diligence, underwriting, negotiation, and execution of partnerships and commitments.
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee, WSIB Board, and committees; present findings.
• Monitor portfolio and assist in portfolio strategy and cash flow modeling.
• Collaborate with partners, counsel, and advisors to achieve goals and compliance.
• Travel frequently, including international travel for non-U.S. investments.
