Job summary
HHM Hotels in Philadelphia is seeking an Acquisitions and Business Development Associate to join our investment platform. You will underwrite domestic hotel acquisitions and conduct detailed feasibility analyses for prospective markets, while managing complex structures including mezzanine financing and joint ventures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Real Estate, Business or Hospitality.
- Minimum two years of experience in real estate or hotel acquisitions and development; IB or PE preferred.
- Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience negotiating real estate transactions, including terms, capital structures, and JV documents.
Responsibilities
- Leading underwriting, due diligence, and execution of hotel acquisitions and development opportunities.
- Conducting market and feasibility analyses for new markets and portfolios.
- Developing and maintaining financial models for investments.
- Negotiating term sheets and contracts for management and investment opportunities.
- Sourcing off-market investment opportunities.
- Coordinating real estate transaction structures, including mezzanine finance and JVs.
- Preparing presentations for monthly acquisitions meetings and board reviews.
- Collaborating with Operations, Legal, and Accounting to transition new hotels.
- Performing other duties as requested by management.
