This role will evaluate investment opportunities, develop financial models, and support transaction execution across a portfolio of real estate investments. The ideal candidate brings strong real estate finance experience, advanced modeling skills, and the ability to contribute to investment decisions while supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities as the Real Estate Acquisitions Associate:

• Investment Analysis: Evaluate real estate acquisition opportunities through financial analysis, market research, and investment underwriting.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models, including cash flow projections, equity returns, and waterfall analyses.
• Transaction Support: Assist with acquisition due diligence, deal structuring, investment presentations, and transaction execution.
• Market Research: Analyze real estate markets, property valuations, investment trends, and potential acquisition opportunities.
• Relationship Management: Communicate with brokers, lenders, and other industry professionals to support investment sourcing and deal evaluation.
• Team Development: Review financial models, provide guidance to junior analysts, and support the accuracy of investment analyses.

Qualifications for the Real Estate Acquisitions Associate:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of real estate acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, real estate lending, or investment analysis experience is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate investments, acquisition underwriting, property valuation, and transaction analysis is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills, including discounted cash flow analysis, equity return modeling, and waterfall calculations, are required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with external stakeholders are required.
