Job summary

Mission Staffing is seeking a Finance Vice President for a boutique private equity firm in Fairfield County, CT. The role reports to the CFO and owns all corporate FP&A, plus select family office/compensation finance responsibilities.

This hybrid, in-office position offers a small finance team, exposure across the firm, and a performance-driven culture.

You will build expense reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, and partner with department heads to drive value.

Responsibilities

• Build expense reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Own the firm's annual budget and long-range financial plan, partnering closely with department heads across the organization.
• Develop bottoms-up forecasts by fund, modeling both current and future vehicles.
• Lead firmwide compensation tracking and analysis, partnering with the CFO and COO to standardize how compensation data is captured and reported.
• Provide benchmarking support and analytics to inform compensation decisions.
• Serve as a key business partner to the CEO, delivering recurring and ad hoc reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Own the methodology for allocating costs and returns fairly across funds and investors.
• Partner with the Fund Finance team on GP reporting to lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc family office finance needs for the founder — including personal financial reporting, coordination with outside wealth advisors and tax/legal counsel, and tracking of personal investments, trusts, and philanthropic entities
