Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is expanding its Private Equity Performance Improvement CFO Services team in the U.S. and seeks an Associate to support financial advisory engagements for portfolio companies. You will develop findings, create strategic recommendations, and build cash flow models under tight deadlines.

The role requires 4-7+ years in consulting or related fields, strong Excel/PowerBI/Tableau skills, and willingness to travel up to 80%. A CPA is preferred; Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of relevant work experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Strategy or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited 4-year institution.
• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Strong financial modeling experience and understanding of financial statements; 13-week cash flows preferred; experience with Tableau and think-cell is a plus.
• Treasury / cash management experience a strong plus; systems implementation experience a plus.
