Heartline Staffing is seeking a Private Equity Associate for an established investment firm in San Francisco focused on consumer businesses. This on-site role targets a transaction-oriented professional with strong investment banking experience to collaborate with senior investors across new investments, execution, and portfolio support.

The team invests across consumer products, brands, and related services, partnering with management to drive growth and value.

Qualifications

2+ years of investment banking experience REQUIRED.
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills REQUIRED.
Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate investment opportunities REQUIRED.
Ability to assess consumer businesses, including market trends, competitive positioning, brand strength, and growth opportunities REQUIRED.
Strong written and verbal communication skills REQUIRED.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a lean investment team REQUIRED.
Willingness and ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA REQUIRED.

Responsabilités

Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment return scenarios.
Evaluate consumer trends, competitive positioning, brand strength, and growth opportunities.
Support due diligence by reviewing company financials and coordinating with management teams and external advisers.
Prepare investment committee materials and recommendations.
Monitor portfolio-company performance.
Support strategic initiatives across portfolio companies.
Work closely with senior investors throughout the investment process.
