Confidential Careers is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join our investment team focused on consumer sectors. The Associate will evaluate investment opportunities, build models, and support portfolio company growth in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory.
• Strong transaction experience, ideally with exposure to M&A and/or leveraged finance.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Demonstrated interest in consumer and/or retail sectors.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across consumer sectors.
• Build and maintain complex financial models (LBO, operating models, valuation analyses).
• Conduct industry research and market diligence to support investment theses.
• Participate in sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring.
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and deal documentation.
• Coordinate with management teams, advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Support portfolio companies by analyzing performance, tracking KPIs, and assisting with strategic initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and identify potential add-on acquisition opportunities.
