Job summary

Temasek Holdings, based in New York, seeks an Associate/Senior Associate for the Private Equity Capital Solutions (PECS) team. You will participate in all stages of the investment process—from sourcing and screening to due diligence, IC approval, and post-investment monitoring.

The role requires 1–3 years' experience in private equity or related fields, strong financial modeling, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across offices and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 1–3 years of related private equity experience or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities with solid understanding of financial statements.
• Interest in private equity markets and ability to build and maintain intermediary relationships.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-office environment across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess investment opportunities in private equity funds, secondaries, and direct co-investments.
• Perform deal evaluation, due diligence, and financial modeling; draft investment memos.
• Monitor investee funds and co-investments; support internal reporting and analytics.
• Track market trends and portfolio performance to support investment/divestment decisions.
• Develop industry knowledge and adapt to macroeconomic and regulatory changes.
• Source opportunities in collaboration with senior investment team members.
