Job summary

Principle Recruiting is partnering with a Chambers-ranked private equity and M&A firm to hire a Corporate / Private Equity M&A Associate in Los Angeles or Orange County.

This fast-growing middle-market platform was founded by former AmLaw 10 partners and represents sponsors and portfolio companies across buyouts, add-ons, growth equity, debt financing and exits. They seek Class of 2023 or more senior candidates with strong PE/M&A credentials.

Qualifications

• Class of 2023 or more senior.
• Private equity and M&A experience at a large or elite firm, ideally on the sponsor side.
• Experience running due diligence, drafting purchase agreements and ancillary documents, and managing deal workstreams.
• Superior academic and professional credentials.
• Admission to the California, New York, or Texas Bar, or the ability to waive in.

Responsibilities

• Run due diligence and manage deal workstreams.
• Draft purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents.
• Coordinate with sponsors, portfolio companies, and internal teams on closing processes.
• Provide direct client contact and contribute to deal strategy.
