Job summary

Insite Legal in New York seeks a mid-level M&A/Private Equity Associate to join the NYC office. You will handle public and private mergers and acquisitions, LBOs, growth equity and complex transactions with early drafting and partner-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of M&A and/or private equity experience at a top-tier US law firm.

• Confidence running workstreams and owning ancillary documents, and growing confidence leading purchase agreement drafting.
• Strong academics and excellent written communication.
• Commercial instinct and a client-facing manner.

The team advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic acquirers and high-growth companies on transactions across the full deal cycle. Associates here get substantive drafting and negotiation responsibility early and work closely with partners on each matter.
