Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Private Equity Associate for a fully remote role based in the U.S., joining a fast-growing fintech platform that connects accredited investors with exclusive private investment opportunities.

You will develop investor relationships, present opportunities, and guide processes from first contact to close, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver an exceptional investor experience and maximizing earnings through uncapped commissions and equity participation.

Qualifications

• Active Series 7 and Series 63/66 licenses.
• Experience in investment sales, wealth management or capital markets.
• Proven success in a commission-driven environment.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with accredited investors across the U.S.
• Consult investors on portfolio objectives, risk tolerance and interests.
• Present private-market opportunities with confidence and credibility.
• Guide investors from initial conversation through close.
• Build long-term relationships to drive repeat investment activity.

What You'll Do

• Develop relationships with accredited investors and high-net-worth individuals across the U.S.
• Consult investors regarding portfolio objectives, risk tolerance, and alternative investment interests
• Present private market investment opportunities with confidence and credibility
• Guide investors through the investment process from initial conversation through close
• Build long-term relationships designed to drive repeat investment activity
• Generate investment activity through a combination of outbound engagement and investor inquiries
• Partner with internal teams to deliver a best-in-class investor experience
• Drive revenue growth while becoming a trusted resource for private-market investing

What We're Looking For

• Active Series 7 and Series 63/66 licenses
• Experience in investment sales, wealth management, broker-dealer environments, private placements, alternatives, or capital markets
• Proven success in a commission-driven environment
• Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
• Confidence speaking with sophisticated investors
• Entrepreneurial, competitive, and highly self-motivated
• Comfortable managing a high volume of investor conversations
• Passion for private markets, venture-backed companies, and emerging investment trends
