Private Equity Accountant, Dallas (90K-95K+Bonus)

We are seeking a Private Equity Accountant in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience in public accounting, private equity accounting, investment company accounting, or real estate accounting. This role is also suitable for someone with a tax background looking to transition into an accounting position.

This position offers a salary of 90K-95K plus a competitive bonus. The company is implementing a permanent hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing month, quarter, and year-end US GAAP financial statements
2. Assisting with capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
3. Maintaining accounting records
4. Preparing journal entries for income/loss allocations
5. Analyzing daily cash transactions and fund flows
6. Preparing debt reconciliations and roll-forwards for multiple facilities
7. Resolving complex investment accounting issues
8. Supporting management in problem resolution
9. Handling special projects and analyses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
• Minimum of two years of professional accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, tax, investment company, or real estate accounting
