Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Private Duty for a local contract nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The RN will provide school-based nursing care to students, coordinating with physicians and families during the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements include a valid RN license and at least 2 years of RN experience; pediatric experience is preferred but not required, and licensure can be obtained if not already licensed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to obtain state licensure if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to students within the school setting in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications, tube feedings, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support the student’s educational participation and inclusion.
• Support student health needs through care coordination and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student health records and interventions.
