Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes across Texas. You will follow individualized care plans, document care, and coordinate with physicians and families to meet clinical goals.

This role offers flexibility with full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts, including days, nights and weekends. Local support and dedicated resources are available to assist clinicians in the field.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
• State-specific pediatrics experience or requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care per physician orders.
• Observe, assess, and report changes in patient conditions to supervisor or physician.
• Document activities, assessments, nursing actions and care coordination promptly.
• Develop, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Take appropriate nursing action to achieve outcomes and mitigate risk.
• Adhere to policies, regulations, and professional standards.
• Provide care with infection control measures in line with OSHA.
• Educate patients and families on disease process, self-care and prevention strategies.
• Maintain competencies through continuing education and evaluations.
