Job summary

Always Compassionate Health is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, one-on-one nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes in Nassau County.

You will administer prescribed medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with families to ensure comfort, safety, and personalized care. This role offers $45 per hour with flexible scheduling and immediate openings, supporting a dedicated home-care team.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Minimum of six months of home care nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a home care setting.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Perform G-tube/PEG care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning as needed.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, recognize changes in health status, and promptly report concerns.
• Provide ventilator support when required and within the nurse’s training and competency.
• Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, treatments, and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
