Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a contract role in Mullin, TX. The RN will administer patient care per physician care plans in the patient’s home on a 1099 basis, with 8 hours per month and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include documenting care, administering meds and therapies, and monitoring patient status while coordinating with family, physicians, and care teams. Training, CPR, and a valid RN license required; background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Current State or Compact RN license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in clinical or home health.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care.
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided.
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies.
• Perform activities of daily living as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and indicators of progression.
• Communicate with family, physicians, case managers and others involved.
• Provide one-on-one in-home care and environment comfort.
• Collaborate with and supervise CNAs and PCAs.
• Perform other personal care services as necessary.

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Mullin, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician‑established care plan. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with care being provided at the patient’s residence. Patient needs include 8 hours/month with a flexible schedule—perfect if you’re looking for a PRN opportunity or a few extra hours on the side.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician‑prescribed plans of care
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
• Perform various activities associated with daily living
• Monitor for changes in the patient's condition, such as weight loss/gain, self‑care abilities, and indicators of disease progression
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient's health
• Work with patients one‑on‑one in the patient’s home to provide a comfortable environment
• Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants
• Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting
• Current CPR certification
• Willing to get TB tested
• Maintain required insurance
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home
