ONTRACK HOME CARE INC in Minnesota is seeking RN/LPN weekend coverage for private duty nursing in West Lakeland Township and Scandia. The patient is a 29-year-old male, non-ambulatory, ventilator dependent with trach and G-tube.

This role involves weekend evenings/overnight shifts and hands-on ventilator care, suctioning, and safe transfers. Nurses must be licensed in MN, pass background check, have driver’s license, and be reliable.

• CPR or BLS certification expected.

Weekend evenings/overnight coverage NEEDED IMMEDIATELY for Private Duty Nursing Position in West Lakeland Township (between Lake Elmo and Bayport) weekend one. In Scandia, off northeast side of Big Marine Lake on weekend two. This client has 24/7 nursing scheduled. Nursing students welcome – will train.

Client is a 29 year old male who is non-ambulatory, but mobile in his electric wheel chair daily. He is 75 lbs. and about 40 inches tall. Is a one‑person transfer. Meds consist of one sub‑cut injection a day. He is happy and alert and goes out in community for walks, shopping, train shows, etc. Client is on a Trilogy ventilator with a uncuffed trach (is off vent 7 hours/daily). Client is very stable making it a good situation for nurses to learn ventilator and suctioning skills. G‑tube for hydration/meds only. Consumes meals orally. No disposable pants, toilets and lets you know when needed. Does some self‑occupation. He can do some communication.

This is a pleasant position in a great environment with a good team of helpful skilled nurses.

Skills needed, but will train: Ventilator, trach, G‑tube, transfers, injections.

Hourly Pay: RNs 39/41, LPNs 30/32 (shift differential for overnights)

REQUIRED:

• Nursing License: currently registered on MN Board of Nursing website in good standing
• Passing background study
• Can legally work in the USA
• Driver’s License/reliable transportation
• Committed and reliable for shifts scheduled
• Works well with the team of skilled nurses and family
• CPR or BLS certificate
• Two step or Gold standard TB test (or X-Ray) completed or in process
• Can read, write and speak English
• Can transfer 75 lbs without restrictions
