Job summary

CIEL Senior Living in Mission, KS is seeking a Private Duty/Home Care Aide (CAH) to support clients with compassionate, non-medical care on a flexible schedule. Will provide assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, transportation, and basic household tasks while maintaining clients’ independence and dignity.

Strong English communication and reliable transportation are appreciated as part of delivering safe, respectful care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (state regulations); 1–3 months healthcare/homecare experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID; driver’s license preferred.
• Makes routine decisions based on guidelines with limited independent judgment.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate in English with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical hands-on care: dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and transfers.
• Provide one-on-one companionship to clients.
• Assist with medication per defined procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping and assist with transportation to appointments.
