Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Lawrence is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on providing personal care to seniors in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, work-life balance, and various benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, and tuition discounts through Rasmussen University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Kansas.
• CPR certification.
• Valid Kansas driver's license or Kansas State ID, auto insurance, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes.
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and eating.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes.
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care.
