Job summary

Helping Hearts USA LLC in Brentwood, TN is seeking an experienced private duty caregiver for a single client on a consistent 36-hour weekly schedule (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM). This is a one-on-one assignment with immediate start, requiring dependable, compassionate caregiving and active engagement throughout every shift.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Experience providing one-on-one care to older adults.
• Dependable transportation and punctual start times.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to commit to all three assigned days (Wed, Fri, Sun).
• Availability 7:00 AM–7:00 PM on scheduled days.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and active engagement with the client.
• Assist with activities of daily living while preserving privacy and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Mobility and ambulation support per care plan.
• Transfer assistance within training and safety policies.
• Fall prevention and safety monitoring throughout shift.
• Meal and hydration preparation and support.
• Medication reminders as permitted by policy.
• Documentation and communication using WellSky.
