Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Private Duty Aide/Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our home care team in Kentwood, Michigan. You will provide hands-on personal care, monitor client conditions, and support therapy or nursing services under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation, while reporting changes and ensuring a safe home environment. CNA certification or 6 months caregiving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months prior adult caregiving experience or CNA course/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
