Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking Home Health Aides to provide Private Duty In-Home Care for Clients in the Kent City/Cedar Springs and surrounding areas. The HHA will deliver one-on-one support, assist with daily living activities, and help clients stay comfortable at home.

You’ll be valued as a trusted caregiver, helping improve quality of life in the community. Responsibilities include bathing assistance, transfers, ROM work, ADLs, light housekeeping, and occasional driving support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to work independently with integrity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• CPR Certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board Transfers
• Range of Motion ( Approx 15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• ADL's
• Light housework duty (Cleaning, assistance with cooking as needed)
• Driving Handicap van as needed, typically client can drive themself
